Released in September 2009 (marking the first official Glowmobile release), Closer to Me introduces Croucher's unique brand of sonically charged bedroom shoegaze. The track Closer Than You Ever Will Be is an exploratory journey that deals with destruction, and creation that Croucher has dealt with. On the other end, Go To Sleep closes out the album with a beautifully amorphous soundscape that is nothing short of transporting.

The entire album was written, recorded and mixed by Will Croucher.

The album comes as a CDR packaged in Arigato Paks made of recycled materials, with insert.
